GMYC FACILITY HOURS Monday - Sunday 6:00 PM-9:30 PM Closures June 23 GMYC ACTIVE PASS Purchase your Greg Moore Active Pass for only $40 per year or $20 for 6 months. For ages 13Y-18Y. Includes: skating and climbing; 20% off special events & out trips; and entitles you to special discounts and activities.

The Greg Moore Youth Centre offers a variety of recreational opportunities for youth aged 13Y-18Y. Come down and start up a game of basketball or floor hockey during our open gym, or drop by the Youth Lounge for some relaxed fun. From pool to foose-ball to giant chess or just hanging with your friends, we know you’ll find something to do here. All of our programming is ‘youth initiated’, meaning, youth plan our programs for YOUth!

YOUTHWEEK EVENTS

YOUTH FITNESS ORIENTATION - MAY 1 Youth will get a free MRLC gym orientation with a free one week membership. Sign-up and secure a spot for an orientation at the Greg Moore Youth Centre, 3:30 pm or 6:30 pm spots available. SUMMER PLAN SLAM - MAY 1, 7:30 PM Come to the GMYC and share your ideas for your summer out trips while enjoying some pizza. TOURNAMENT NIGHT - May 2, 6:30 PM GYMC will be hosting a free youth tournament night. Come out join our air hockey, pool, fireball and ping pong mini tournaments. YOUTH IMPROV NIGHT - May 3, 7:00 PM Improv night is back! Come out and join us for a night of laughs. Be a part of the show or just sit back and enjoy it. Youth Week is a provincial celebration of youth held annually during the first week of May. It is a week of fun, interaction, and celebration intended to build a strong connection between young people and their communities and to profile the issues, accomplishments, and diversity of youth across the province.

MENTORSHIP BBQ - May 4, 3:00 pm Celebrate the opening of the Thomas Haney Skate Park for the 2018 season. There will be free hot dogs, drinks and snacks available. WHOMP - May 5 OurannualGMYCsleepoverisbackandwillkeepyouthengaged all night long. Swimming, pool and fireball tournaments will happen throughout the night. Pizza and prizes and a ton of fun will be had. CINEMA NIGHT - MAY 6, 7:00 PM Join us for a movie on the big screen with popcorn and snacks. YOUTH TALENT SHOW - MAY 7, 7:00 PM Celebrate themany talents of our Youth at The ACT Arts Centre! A great opportunity for our community to see youth shine. Auditions begin April. Contact Clint Gamache at 604-467-7443. CRE8 YOUTH DAY - MAY 7 Workshops with arts industry professionals. Special effects makeup, acting, game design and silks.
